Mumbai, August 7 — Lock Upp Season 2 winner Shreya Kalra has revealed that one of her first priorities after taking home the Rs 1 crore prize money will be to support fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde's shelter home.
During a media interaction after winning the reality show, Shreya was asked how she plans to use the prize money and which dreams she intends to fulfil with it.
Responding to the question, Shreya said she has no inclination towards luxury purchases.
"Look, I don't believe in luxury items. Nor do I like cars so much. I like to buy gifts, and I like to give gifts, but I am not into such luxury items."
The reality show winner then revealed that she wants to contribute towards Shilpa Shinde's shelter home.
"One thing I have thought is that I will help Shilpa ji for her shelter home, whatever I can do."
Apart from extending support to Shilpa's initiative, Shreya said she intends to make a smart financial investment.
"And second, I will try to invest this money in a property, so that I get a return. Because I am Sindhi, and my business mind is very strong. So those are two things that I have thought of for this Rs 1 crore."
For the uninitiated, Shreya Kalra emerged as the winner of Lock Upp Season 2 during the grand finale held on August 5.
She defeated Shivangi Joshi, who finished as the first runner-up, while Yogesh secured the second runner-up position. Shilpa Shinde ended her journey as the fourth runner-up.
Throughout the season, Shreya and Shilpa shared an extremely warm bond with ups and downs inside the Lock Upp house.
Shilpa had expressed her desire of building a shelter home for the needy and doing her best for the welfare of the ones who need help and love.
