Puri, Sep 17 — International sand artist Manas Kumar Sahu created a special artwork at his studio in Puri to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. Students of the Sudarshan Sand Art Institute also created a sand-art animation dedicated to the Prime Minister.
Speaking to IANS, sand artist Manas Kumar Sahu said that he extended his birthday wishes to Prime Minister Modi through the sand animation. He said the artwork tries to show different aspects of the Prime Minister’s political journey and his work for the country.
Referring to Prime Minister Modi’s nearly 25-year political career, Manas Kumar Sahu highlighted topics such as ‘Make in India', the Ram Temple, Article 370, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and GST. He also mentioned BRICS and ISRO’s Chandrayaan mission. He said that 'Operation Sindoor' was also included in his sand art.
The artist also said that the artwork shows that the Prime Minister's birthday falls on the day of Vishwakarma Puja. He connected Lord Vishwakarma with nation-building and skills related to construction, and described the Prime Minister as someone contributing to nation-building.
According to the artist, it took around one hour to create this special sand artwork.
On this occasion, students from the Sudarshan Sand Art Institute also created a sand artwork to wish the Prime Minister a happy birthday. One student stated that they prepared this pictorial artwork of the Prime Minister to convey greetings on his 76th birthday.
The student added that the sand animation and artwork created in Puri were part of a special sand art presentation organised to mark the Prime Minister's birthday. Artists and students extended birthday wishes to him through their creativity and depicted various episodes from his public life in their artworks.
The Prime Minister has been receiving greetings on his 76th birthday from around the country and from global leaders as well, who have all wished him good health on the big day.
