Mumbai, Aug 24 — Veteran actor Sudesh Berry is set to be seen in the upcoming family comedy “Hey Bhagwan Bacha Le,” which will release theatrically.
Along with Sudesh Berry, the film stars Anil Dhawan, Sonika Gill, Kshitij Panwar, Shalini Thakur, Janardan Jha, Meenakshi, Vandana Bhambhoria, Kundan Kumar, Pramod Saini and Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The film explores the importance of family through a refreshing blend of humour, emotions and heartfelt relationships. It revolves around a family whose members are constantly at loggerheads with one another. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they encounter God and are given an opportunity to ask for one wish.
What follows is an amusing yet emotional realization. Instead of wishing for diamonds worth crores or material wealth, the family members ask for their own loved ones. The central thought of the film is beautifully captured in the belief that “Our real diamonds are our family.”
With its unique combination of comedy and emotion, “Hey Bhagwan Bacha Le” aims to deliver an entertaining experience while highlighting the value of relationships and togetherness.
The film was shot at various locations across Mumbai.
Directed by Manoj Singh, the film is produced by Ravi Khanna, with Rashmita Das as Co-Producer and Akhtar Khan as Executive Producer. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Tapan Bhatt.
Dharmendra Biswas serves as the Director of Photography, while Nitesh Tank is the Editor.
Produced under the banner of Everybody Production, the film has successfully completed its shooting, editing, background music and VFX work and is now gearing up for its theatrical release.
Talking about the actor, Sudesh began his acting career with the film Khatron Ke Khiladi. He gained recognition with supporting roles in films such as Ghayal, where he played Rajan Berry.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he appeared in several Hindi films including Vansh, Veergati, Army and war film Border, in which he portrayed Subedar Mathura Das. He then worked in films such as Refugee, LOC: Kargil, Tango Charlie, 99 and Sanam Teri Kasam.
In addition to Hindi cinema, Berry has also appeared in regional films including Punjabi, Tamil, and Malayalam productions. He made his television debut in the late 1980s with the epic series Mahabharat, in which he played Maharaj Vichitravirya.
