Chennai Blooms: Odissi Dance Inspires Art Exhibition

The Editorial Team of Behind The Headlines reports that Chennai’s Lalit Kala Akademi is hosting “Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom,” a unique exhibition celebrating the classical Indian dance form, Odissi. The six-day event showcases drawings, paintings, and photographs from 21 artists from India and Malaysia. Inspired by dancer Datuk Ramli Bin Ibrahim and the late Dr. Dinanath Pathy, the exhibition translates the rhythms and emotions of Odissi into visual art. Visitors can experience Odissi beyond the stage, as artists interpret its essence on canvas, paper, and in photographs. The exhibition is free to enter and runs until January 29.
