
Television actor Naman Shaw, who became well-known for playing Nakul Virani in the legendary serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has shared his happiness about the show’s return. He said that the comeback is making fans feel excited and bringing back old memories.
Currently, Naman is playing the lead character Adit Saxena in the TV show Mangal Lakshmi. While talking about his early career, Naman said, “Kyunki was a very popular show at that time. It feels amazing to see that even after 20 years, people still talk about it. Just hearing the title song makes me feel nostalgic.”
He added that during those days, television was one of the biggest entertainment platforms, and acting in such a huge serial gave him and others a lot of fame. He believes the show’s return is something many people are excited about.
Remembers Old Memories and Friends
Naman also shared some joyful moments from his shooting days. He said it’s always nice to meet old co-actors again. “Although I don’t talk to many of them regularly now, we still meet from time to time,” he said.
He shared that he once met Pulkit Samrat while working behind the scenes on a film set, where Pulkit was acting. He also runs into Mouni Roy at social events, and he recently worked with Hiten Tejwani on a web series that he was producing. He added, “Meeting old friends and remembering the good old days is always fun.”
Original Cast Returns to the Screen
In the new version of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, many original actors have returned. Smriti Irani is back in her iconic role as Tulsi Virani, and Amar Upadhyay will once again play Mihir Virani.
Other actors featured in the show include Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Shagun Sharma, Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, Ankit Bhatia, and Tanisha Mehta.
Naman Shaw’s Work in Other Shows
Naman Shaw has acted in several other well-known serials over the years. His past roles include characters in Kkavyanjali, Kasamh Se, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kasturi, Kairi — Rishta Khatta Meetha, and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
His latest show Mangal Lakshmi is an official Hindi remake of the Kannada serial Bhagyalakshmi. The show stars Deepika Singh, Sanika Amit, Naman Shaw, and Shubham Dipta in lead roles.
