Samsung India has said that its new ‘Made in India’ Galaxy Z Fold7 is becoming very popular in small towns, especially in tier 3 and tier 4 areas and even smaller places. The growing interest shows how people in smaller cities are now more eager to buy high-tech gadgets, thanks to a stronger economy and rising lifestyle standards.
Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President of Samsung India, shared that they are sending more stocks of the phone to these smaller regions to meet the demand. He said they are happy and surprised by the growing interest from remote parts of the country, and the company will continue to focus on serving these areas well.
One of the key reasons for the phone’s popularity is its modern and stylish design. The slim and lightweight body, new colours, powerful processor, and Galaxy AI features have made the phone more attractive to buyers.
Samsung also mentioned that in some areas, the phone is already sold out due to high demand. To fix this, the company is working quickly at its Noida factory to produce more units and keep up with orders.
Earlier, Samsung had revealed that in just 48 hours, they got 2.1 lakh (210,000) pre-orders for their new foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE – showing that foldable phones are becoming more popular in India.
Pullan added that the company is putting in extra effort to speed up production and make sure people get their phones quickly. The strong demand is coming from both physical stores and online shopping platforms.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s slimmest and lightest foldable phone yet. It weighs only 215 grams, even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. When folded, the phone is 8.9 mm thick, and when opened, it’s just 4.2 mm thick, making it easy to carry and use, according to Samsung.
